Special "Candle Flower Workshop" for Women's Day at the Faculty of Technology
Within the scope of March 8th International Women's Day, the "Candle Flower Workshop" organized by the Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center (MERLAB) was held with the participation of academic and administrative staff working at the Faculty of Technology.
Speaking at the opening of the event, the Director of MERLAB, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Sardohan Köseoğlu, emphasized the significance of March 8th International Women's Day and thanked the participants for their great interest.
During the workshop session, participants had the opportunity to design their own flower bouquets by learning special candle-making techniques. Providing an enjoyable break aimed at increasing motivation and strengthening institutional belonging within daily work intensity, the academic and administrative staff expressed their satisfaction with producing together and meeting on a social platform.
At the end of the event, while the crafted candle flowers were presented to the participants as a memory of the day, it was stated that such activities within MERLAB, which are focused on social contribution and strengthening internal institutional interaction, are planned to continue in the future.
